It’s very common to find that students from the same family are under different guardian accounts or that one student is part of two or more guardian accounts. This can happen for a lot of reasons, but most commonly two different guardians will create an account for the same student, one guardian will create multiple accounts, or different guardians will create accounts for different siblings in the same family.
Since multiple accounts can cause a lot of confusion, SchoolMint support is happy to merge student accounts for you by moving students from one account username to another.
If you need accounts merged, please email email@example.com with the following information:
- The full names and usernames of all students who need to be merged
- We need names and usernames to identify the correct students - even unusual names can have repeats in our database!
- The username (email or phone number) that they should all be merged into
Here's an example of a great merge request:
Please merge the following students into account: firstname.lastname@example.org
Ginny Weasley - email@example.com
Percy Weasley - 987654321
Ron Weasley - 876543219
This merge request gives us the student usernames and clearly indicates which account to merge students into; giving all of this information helps us complete the merge as quickly as possible.
