Voice calling is a SchoolMint premium feature that allows you to send families an automated or ad hoc voice call along with any Email/Text Message.
There are the many locations where one can send a voice message along with an email and/or text message:

You have the option to enter the text of the voice message or you can upload your own voice message. Please note that the number families see when receiving their voice message cannot be altered.
