What is the difference between the Duplicate Applications and Multiple Applications Reports?

Duplicate Applications Report is a data cleanup tool that helps ensure each student only has one active application for a grade/school. The report flags similar applications submitted from multiple accounts, comparing against three criteria:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Date of Birth

Exact matches meet 3/3 criteria. 

Possible matches meet 2/3 criteria. 

Multiple Applications Report flags applications tied to the same student in a single account.

Multiple Applications Report is informative when your site allows applications to multiple schools in your network, identifying students who have submitted applications to more than one school.
