Manage: Student Index

The SchoolMint Student Index is simply a view to display all students, regardless of “type”, in one table. Unlike other tables (Registration and Re-enrollment, for example), there are very few admin actions for this index. Please use other tables and pages to complete the needed actions.

Table Features

1. Student Name
2. School = Current school (re-enrolling students do not have a school listed)
3. Grade = Current grade
4. Username
5. Status

7. Details = Admin actions

Student Enroll Statuses

• Unregistered
• Pre-registered
• Active
• Inactive
• Transferred
• Graduated

Notes

• Any admin can edit one of their students to be in any status
• Any admin can bulk edit a set of their students to be in any status

These are the automatic ways SchoolMint updates a student's enrollment status:

Unregistered

• A student in the application or lottery stage
• When a student gets added through the application flow, students start off in this status
• Applications bulk import into this status
• Related application statuses
  -Submitted
  -Pre Offer
  -Offered
  -Waitlisted
  -Canceled
  -Declined
  -Rescinded
  -Withdrawn (from Waitlist)

Pre-registered

• A student scheduled to attend a school in this org in the upcoming school year
• When Exporting to SIS, the student can move into this status (configurable)
• Existing students can be bulk imported as pre-registered
• Related application statuses
  -Accepted
  -Registration in Progress
  -Registration Completed
  -Registration Verified

Active

• A student attends a school in this org
• When a student is added to the re_enrollments table, the student starts off in this status
• Re-enrollment bulk import into this status
• When exporting to SIS, the student can move into this status (configurable)
• Existing students can be bulk imported as active
• Related re-enrollment statuses
  -Not Started
  -In Progress
  -Completed
  -Verified

Inactive

• A pre-registered or active student who never ended up attending a school in this org
• A student who has withdrawn after accepting an offer could manually be put into this status

Transferred

• A student has transferred to a school outside this org
• Marking a re-enrollment as status Not Returning moves student into this status

Graduated

• A student has graduated from this org (usually from grade 12)
• Bulk edit on students to get to graduated status. happens after a school year is over.
