Students Without Mobile App/Device
Students without the mobile app or mobile device can log in to the Hero web portal to view their earned coupons in the "Uncomplied Actions" section of the "Behavior" tab. School users can also view which coupons students have earned in the Hero Compliance feature, Compliance report, or student behavior history. |
Other Ideas
You can easily apply the same idea of virtual coupons to a school store or classroom store. Instead of automating the incentives within your positive behavior codes, just create a behavior code for a specific incentive - like a ticket to a faculty basketball game, or a goodie bag to be picked up at a later date. Students can choose to purchase these incentives with Hero points and will have the virtual coupon on their phone to present when ready.
Make the action compliable, or ENABLE REACTIONS, so that the virtual coupon appears on the student app and can be complied when the coupon is used.
Pros, Cons, and Things to Consider
Pros: Students are highly motivated by earning unknown incentives at mystery triggers.
Cons: Not all students have personal mobile devices to easily view their earned coupons.
Things to Consider:
What incentives will you offer?
Will students cash in their incentives with their teacher or a school store?
Who is responsible for complying the action when the incentive is used?
How will you train the staff?
How will you train the students?
What about students that do not have the Hero mobile app on a cell phone?
