Prepare: Review the "Multiples" Custom Lottery Priority

We have a custom priority to highlight applicants that are multiples within the same family.

 

The "Multiples" priority will flag all applicants within the same account, with a same birthdate. Schools want to know this information because many have specific lottery rules for these "multiples" applicants.

 

In the Application Index, sorting by this "Multiples" priority will highlight all applicants within the same account, with a same birthdate.

 

 

After validating this priority, each applicants within a set of multiples will receive the same lottery position during the lottery draw.

 

While the lottery number is the same, each individual student will have a waitlist number that is sequential. As we can see in the example above, Aaliyah Mims is Waitlisted- #223 and Mia Mims is Waitlisted-#224.
