If a username is already in use by an existing account, then you will see the following message when trying to update the username:
You can resolve this in a couple of ways:
- Ask the family to log into their existing account instead.
- Use another email or phone number for the account instead.
- As a final resource, send an email to support@schoolmint.com to update the account username for you.
