User Checklist for Re-Enrollment Launch in SchoolMint
1) Set Re-Enrollment Start Date and Re-Enrollment End Dates *Required
- Settings > Set Up Calendars & Dates
2) Finalize Re-Enrollment Forms *Required
- Settings > Manage Forms > Custom Forms

- * Tip: A common update needed is to refresh custom text with school year dates (For example, changing “2020-2021 form” to “2021-2021 form”)
- *Tip: For help on which custom fields to use, click on "Show Me How" in your form editing view and refresh
- Ensure forms meet your SIS requirements
- In order to ensure clean data collection and smooth data migration to your SIS, it is crucial to make all re-enrollment form updates before launching online re-enrollment with your families.
- * Please note that any questions regarding your forms must be requested at least two weeks before your re-enrollment launch to be processed by the SchoolMint team. Please direct all questions to the Admin Support Team at support@schoolmint.com.
3) Build/Edit Re-Enrollment Packet *Required
- Settings > Manage Re-Enrollment Packets
- How to create a re-enrollment packet
- How to add milestones to your re-enrollment packet
- * Tip: If you have new schools or grades this year, make sure you add them to the re-enrollment packet
4) Finalize your Set Password message *Required
- Settings > Manage Automatic Message and Email Templates > Set Password Message
- *Tip: Include the username variable in case families forget their username.
5) Notify families that Re-Enrollment is open *Required
- Admissions > Manage Re-Enrollments > Select all of your students > Select Bulk Action > Send Set Password Message
6) Update Communications and Messaging to Families *Optional but Recommended
A) Update Custom Messages
- Settings > Manage Custom Messages
- Update the custom messages that families see when they log in to SchoolMint to re-enroll
- * Tip: Popular Custom Messages: Log In, Student Dashboard or Header Message
B) Update Automatic Text / Email Text Messages
- Settings > Manage Email/Text Messages
- Relevant Messages: Re-Enrollment Completed, Re-Enrollment Verified
- * Tip: Customize re-enrollment related notifications to inform families of school-specific information, dates, and next steps for your school.
