What is the Transfer Re-Enrollments Feature?
This feature will allow school-specific admin the ability to change a Re-Enrollment to any school in the organization instead of just the schools that the admin manages.
- Example: Alikah Allen is a current student to School A but actually needs to be considered a returning student at School B. Now with this feature, a school-specific admin for School B (who would not have access to students at School A) can find Alikah Allen and transfer her into School B. NOTE: Previously someone with a Super Admin role would have had to make this change.

Set Admin Permissions
Navigate to Settings > Manage Roles > Configure Roles
Under the section Re-Enrollment Actions, check the boxes highlighted below - this will grant admins the ability to access the Transfer Re-Enrollment pages. Thus allowing that admin to search for any student in the org and change a Re-Enrollment record to the school(s) she manages.
Checking on the box highlighted below will give the school specific admin the ability to change a re-enrollment to any school in the district instead of just the schools that she manages.
How to Access the Transfer Re-Enrollments Page
Admissions --> Transfer Re-Enrollments
Admins will be able to change school and grade under Actions.
Note: the filters are the same filters that only the School Specific Admins have access to even though the rest of the report shows all students in the org. For Transfer Re-Enrollments, it’s expected that students who have indicated they are Not Returning, that admins cannot change the school for those.
Notifications
We default to notifying admins at sending and receiving schools and guardians about this change.
Notifications should go out every time the school or grade is changed from Transfer Registration / Transfer Re-Enrollment page as long as the Notification checkbox is checked when changing schools.
You can check the communications log for the notifications sent to sending and receiving admins and guardian.
Current Limitations of this Feature
- Super Admin must directly assign these permissions to other admin roles.
