Each month, customers will receive a Hero Highlight email communication from the Hero Customer Success team. The purpose of the message is to share high-level usage summary information, product news, and timely tips with our customers.
This article provides greater details for how the summary statistics are calculated. (Example provided below)
User Adoption (Month)
This is the quotient of users with one or more track in the month compared to the total active user accounts in your Hero account. For more information on how to view/edit your user list, please review this article.
User adoption is critical to the success of a schoolwide behavior program. Administrators should monitor user adoption and overall buy-in from faculty and staff. Low adoption may be an indication of:
- Need for additional product training (Visit SchoolMint University for training options)
- Lack of understanding of program goals (Explain the "why" and the reason for the system)
- Lack of understanding of the usage expectations based on each user's role
- Technical issues (password issues, inaccurate student rosters etc.)

Total Tracks (Month)
This is the total number of times Hero has been used to track a behavior or other "Trac Code" activity in the Hero web portal or phone app. This total includes the sum of tracks for positive, negative and neutral behavior codes. This also includes any tracks that occurred during the point redemption process.
To view more tracking details, visit the REPORTS module inside your Hero account.

Positive Tracks (Month)
Many positive behavior programs recommend at least a 4:1 ratio of positive touchpoints with students compared to negative discipline engagements. Please refer to your Daily Activity Report to monitor your positive to negative behavior tracking ratio.
